Lithography is a printing process that uses a flat stone or metal plate on which the image is worked using a greasy substance that the ink will adhere to, areas where the ink is not required are made ink-repellent.
Unlike her other prints, Carry's lithographs are created with the help of a technician. Colours are applied one layer at a time during a proofing process. Once she agrees the final proof the technician will print up an edition of between 20 to 50 prints.
