The monoprint is a form of printmaking where the image can only be made once, unlike most printmaking which allows for multiple originals.
Carry’s monoprints are unique serigraphs. She may make several versions of a print using some of the same stencils, but each image will be significantly different to make it unique.
Sometimes she will over work the finished print with coloured crayons or paint.
