I have been making various works and giving talks relating to the poetry of John Clare for the last 15 years. Clare (known as the 'peasant poet') lived 200 years ago and he described changes in rural life and farming as seen from the mud. Some examples of earlier work are at the bottom of this page.

"Found in the Fields" is a series of lithographs launched at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh during the 2011 Festival, and has since toured to Hay-on-Wye, Shandy Hall, Hereford Cathedral, Nuneaton, Coughton Court, Norwich Assembly House and St. Andrew's Poetry Festival.

My Book, "natures powers and spells" relates how and why i became so interested in John Clare.

Clare's set of poems "The Shepherd's Calendar" published by Carcanet has 12 full page linocuts, one to introduce each month.

I made 50 linocuts for "The Wood is Sweet" for the John Clare Society.

I made 40 linocuts for "This Happy Spirit" for the John Clare Society.
